Planning Application adjacent Highfields

Mid Devon Planners have REFUSED planning permission for 7 new homes. The main reasons given are

I.  Insufficient circumstances to justify new homes in the countryside.

2. Detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the Conservation Area and the three listed properties on the eastern boundary.

3. The homes would not represent sustainable development with most occupants needing to rely on private transport.
