Parish Council consults.

Around a dozen people responded to the invitation of the new Parish Council on Tuesday October 10th to join them to openly discuss what people felt were the present issues and needs of our local community. Topics covered included eco friendly schemes, traffic speeds through the village, light polution, community relationship with the school and Happy Meadow, the leaning bus shelter, housing need, protecting the conservation area, impact on planning decisions, possibly through a neighbourhood council, and social activities for all age groups.

A good wide ranging discussion giving the new council plenty to consider and action.
